Gaia’s Delights, Inc. (Gaia means “Mother Earth”) is the parent company for a number of businesses known for their commitment to fair trade practices and to small independent herbal farms and farmers. Keith Cleversley started this company in the late 1990′s as he was at the peak of his record production career, working with amazing bands such as The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, Verve, and many others. With the resources Gaia’s Delights, Inc. has been gathering over the past few years, we are now devoting much of our time to helping worthy causes and engaging in activities (such as our yearly “green grant” contest) that we hope will help save this beautiful and sacred planet of ours.
Our bulk herbal and manufacturing division has been handed off to eSutras. eSutras specializes in growing or procuring organic herbs from select growers around the world, focusing on organic farmers who still take great pride in their crops. The brilliant owner of eSutras worked as a specialist for years, teaching accelerated growing methods to farmers in these emerging countries to help increase the productivity on small tracts of land. They manufacture many of the products we offer to distributors and retailers.

KONA KAVA FARM: We purchased the Kona Kava Farm in Hawaii in 2003, but it soon grew into its own company. It’s now Kona Kava Farm, Inc. and we feel there’s no comparison to the quality and the potency of Kona Kava Farm Kava. When testing was done to show whether or not Kava Kava was truly damaging to the liver (which it has been proven NOT to be), Kava from this farm was chosen for its extremely high quality. Revolutionary new lines of Kava Kava products are being developed and marketed on just a select few e-commerce sites, including www.KonaKavaFarm.com, the website for the growers of this strange and wonderful plant that is now garnering the mainstream attention it deserves.
COGNIHANCE: This product has been in development for over 2 years and is another product from us that was taken over by Kona Kava Farm, Inc in early 2009. This is a clinically-proven memory enhancer, with stunning effects on enhancing in cognitive functioning, especially in the area of memory retention. Cognihance is speaking with the makers of Cognitol, and the two companies may merge sometime in 2010.
SWEETSMOKE HERBS: We wanted to offer an alternative to tobacco, with an all-natural smoking product that also offered a pleasant repose that was more intense and that lasted longer than one might expect. After 2 years of research and testing, SweetSmoke Herbs was founded, and now offers the famous Lucid Herbal Smoking Blend, Daganda, and many others. The entire line is offered in select stores throughout the world and at select online retailers such as Shaman’s Garden.
